Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL-ENTITY — Myron to confirm; working text: MyBundle, Inc.] (“MySignIn”, “we”, “us”), of [POSTAL-ADDRESS — Myron to confirm].

By using mysignin.tv, or by asking us for an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What they cover right now

MySignIn is not open yet. Today the site does two things: it explains what we are building, and it takes an email address from people who want an account when we open one.

When the service opens there will be additional terms covering the mail service itself, and you will have to agree to them before you can use it. Section 4, the Acceptable Use Policy, carries over in full and applies to every MySignIn address from the day the first one exists.

3. Asking for an account

Asking for an account does not create one, does not reserve a name or an address, and does not oblige us to open the service or to give you access to it when we do. We may decline a request, and we do not have to say why. We may stop taking requests at any time.

Give us an email address you actually control. Do not submit someone else’s.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

This section applies to every MySignIn account and every MySignIn address, from the moment it exists.

A MySignIn address is a real address belonging to a real account holder. It is not a shield, and we will not treat it as one. The following are prohibited outright.

Fraud and deception

  • Any fraud, scheme to defraud, or attempt at one.
  • Payment fraud of any kind: using stolen or unauthorised payment instruments, card testing, fraudulent chargebacks, or laundering funds.
  • Impersonating another person, company or service, or using an address in a way designed to make someone believe you are somebody you are not.
  • Phishing, or any attempt to obtain someone else’s credentials, payment details or personal information by deception.

Abusing another service’s terms

  • Repeat or multiple sign-ups at a service in order to obtain an introductory or promotional offer more than once, or to extend an introductory period you have already had.
  • Evading a ban, suspension, block, rate limit or other enforcement action that any service has applied to you or to an account you control.
  • Creating accounts at another service in bulk, or by automated means, or in any other way that service prohibits.
  • Using a MySignIn address to do anything that violates the terms of service of the service you give it to.

Mail abuse

  • Sending or receiving unsolicited bulk mail.
  • Using an address to sign up for lists on someone else’s behalf, or otherwise to direct mail at a person who did not ask for it.
  • Distributing malware, or links intended to deliver it.
  • Harassment, threats, stalking, or mail intended to intimidate.
  • Sexual content involving children, in any form. Reported to the authorities without exception.

Everything else unlawful

  • Any use that breaks the law that applies to you or to us, including export controls and sanctions.
  • Any attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to MySignIn’s systems, or anyone else’s.

One account, one person. Do not create multiple accounts to evade a limit, a suspension, or anything in this section. Do not sell, rent, lend or transfer your account or your addresses to anyone else.

5. What happens if you break section 4

We terminate the account.

Specifically: we may suspend or close an account, stop its addresses accepting mail, stop forwarding, and refuse to serve the person behind it in future — and we may do it immediately, without notice, where the conduct warrants it. Addresses belonging to a terminated account are retired. They are never reassigned to a different account, ever — not after a terminated account, not after a closed one.

Where we are legally required to, or where the conduct is serious enough, we report it to law enforcement and we cooperate with them.

We make these judgements ourselves and we do not owe anyone a debate about them, but if you think we have got it wrong, write to [CONTACT-ADDRESS — Myron to confirm] and a person will look at it again.

6. Reporting abuse

If a MySignIn address is being used against you, your company or your service, tell us: [ABUSE-ADDRESS — Myron to confirm].

Please include, where you have it:

  • the MySignIn address involved;
  • the full message headers, or the Message-ID;
  • the date and time, with the time zone;
  • what happened.

We read every report we receive. Where a report is substantiated we act on the account behind the address under section 5.

We will also act on a report from a service that simply does not want MySignIn addresses signing up to it: tell us and we will stop our addresses being used there.

7. Your addresses

Addresses created on MySignIn belong to your account for as long as you keep it. They are permanent by design — that is the point of the product, and it is why an address is safe to use as your sign-in somewhere.

We may need to retire a specific address for a legal, security or abuse reason, or if you close your account. We will tell you if we do. We will not reassign a retired address to anyone else.

You are responsible for what is done with your addresses, and for keeping access to your account secure.

8. Changes to the service

MySignIn is early. We may change how it works, add things, remove things, or stop offering it. If we are going to stop, or make a change that would lose you something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to get your data out.

9. The site is provided as it is

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise that asking for an account will result in one.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost business, arising out of your use of this site.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to this site is limited to one hundred US dollars, or the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is greater. You have not paid us anything, because nothing here costs money.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we change the date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell the people on our list by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING-LAW — Myron to confirm], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of [GOVERNING-LAW-VENUE — Myron to confirm] have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either of us may seek injunctive relief anywhere it is needed.

13. The rest

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing something once does not mean we have given it up. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about this site.
